Halloween {part 3}

This year for Halloween the kids and I had a little 'slumber party' and watched movies together.
Then we handed out candy to kids... and babies........ and adults...
for about an hour before their bed time.
Every time they heard a knock, they jumped up, ran to the door, and knocked back.
Once I opened the door, they started putting handfuls of candy
into each kid's bag... unless it was a scary costume.
It was so cute seeing Ella hand out the candy and towards the end she started chucking it at the kids!
It was a great night in with my babes.

Halloween {part 2}

Today was our wards Trunk-or-Treat! The kids still don't under stand how to trick-or treat and I felt really weird encouraging them to take candy from strangers! Lincoln wanted to immediately eat every candy he got and Ella put her candy into other kids bags. ha ha ha. At least they had fun!

Halloween {part 1}

Fallon threw a fun little Halloween play date at the park yesterday for the kids. She made these yummy spider pot pies and I made some mini mummy hot dogs. It was so nice having our hubbies there too!
Isn't this the cutest little turle, rain cloud, chick, and skunk you've ever seen!?

Halloween in Virginia

Well actually, we had a fun little Halloween party back home in California the day before we flew out here. It was at Nicole's house again this year for her ward play date just like it was last Halloween. Lincoln (the cutest little turtle) is such a social little guy so he had so much fun being around all those kids. His friend Amalie (pretty pink owl) got to go too!

He climbs onto EVERYTHING!
with his aunt Nicole
 Then the day after we arrived to Virginia, we went to our ward Trunk-or-Treat.
Here he is playing a game with Grandma
Little Turtle with his dad

On the actual night of Halloween, Lincoln helped me pass out candy to the trick-or-treaters while daddy was still at work. (Chris comes home between 7 and 10 pm! but that's a whole other blog post.) I know he would have fun doing that! The first knock we heard Lincoln got scared and ran to me to pick him up. Then once he saw all the kids in the costumes, he would get excited every time there was a knock. He even grabbed a piece of candy and put it into one kids bag all by himself. Oh, and Ella was dressed an adorable little baby! (Okay, so she really didn't have a costume which I feel really guilty about. There has been so much going on with packing and moving that I just didn't have any time to think about it. Fortunately my friend gave me Lincoln's costume so I didn't have to worry about that either!)
Happy Halloween
 from the Seymore clan!

The Addam's Family

I always have so much fun with halloween. This year we decided to be the Addam's family. Chris was Gomez, I was Morticia, and Lincoln was Pubert! It was very last minute but we managed to pull it off!

Lincoln had his first Halloween party! It was really fun dressing him up and seeing him lay around with all his baby friends. haha. These were most of the babies and there were a ton of kids! It was fun getting together with some friends and watching their kids run wild. Can't wait 'til Lincoln can actually enjoy it as much as I did.

You're My Hair Stylist?!

Yes, on Halloween there were a few fortunate people who had the privilege of having
Kat Von D (me) be their hair stylist!
It was so much fun dressing up at work. There was a great variety of stylist from a vampire to Garth from Wayne's World and even a skunk! hahaha Yeah I wish I had a picture of all of them!

After work, Chris and I passed out candy to some kids... and teenagers without a costumes, babies that can't even eat solid foods yet, and even grown a** adults!
After that great experience, we drove out to Nathan (sailor) and Amber's (his 40's nurse) house. Enjoyed some pizza and root-beer and made plans to go to Peru next summer.
Over all, it was a fun Halloween and I can't wait to dress up next year! (I already know what I want to be)

Our Haunted House

We are very proud of our pumpkin "Jack" that we worked so hard to create

I let Chris do all the hard work..

(It looks spookier in the dark)

Last halloween Nicole and I threw a halloween party and so I had a little more to decorate my house with this year. But the glass filled with candy corn is now empty!
