2 Months Old!

Lincoln's 2 month Well Baby visit
weight - 13 lbs. 7 oz.
height - 25.2 inches long

Lincoln is getting so big! When we went to his 2 month check-up, the doctor said his height is off the chart for babies his age. The doctor even said he's really alert for his age. I feel like my little baby is growing so fast already. Lincoln was so happy in the doctor's office, he would smile and coo at the doctor as he spoke. But once he got his shots he turned bright red and stared to cry. It was so sad. Lincoln is such a good baby, he really never cries, but when he does it's the sweetest thing. He puckers his bottom lip and whimpers as tears stroll down his chubby cheeks. It's the cutest, yet saddest thing. His personality is coming out more too. He still has a bunch of different facial expressions. Sometimes he'll glance at you while raising one eyebrow. Chris says it's his "sexy" look and he definitely gets that from his dad. He is constantly moving his arms and legs, especially when he gets excited. When he's hungry he starts rooting around with his mouth in a perfect little "o" then when his food is close he starts his rapid breathing like he's so anxious to eat. When he's being fed he clasps his hands together as if he's praying and sometimes he puts his hands on the bottle as if he's holding it. He sticks his tongue in and out like a little lizard, it's pretty funny. He's getting better at entertaining himself. He'll stare at the ceiling fans, or the little toys above his swing. He even brings his pointer fingers slowly toward his eyes and it looks like he's concentrating so hard, it's really funny. Lately he's been reaching for his toys. I swear I have a little genius baby! He loves attention, doesn't matter from who as long as he's getting it. when you talk ti him he smiles so big you can see his gums and he coos like he's having a real conversation with you. He gets really excited right when Chris gets home and smiles the biggest for him. Lincoln loves getting his diaper changed, once it comes off he's all smiles. He loves his baths too, the longer the better. I can go on and on about my little sunshine. He is just the cutest, sweetest, funniest little boy. No one can ever prepare you for how much work it is being a mom, but it's the greatest gift ever and I love my little man more than anything!
